Ian started ModernVivo while in grad school after seeing firsthand just how much time went into gathering research and designing preclinical experiments.
But building a company around that frustration meant learning an entirely different set of skills.
I first met Ian and his co-founder Colin when they were getting started - just as I was launching Bench2Bio, so it was a full-circle moment to catch up and see how their business has evolved.
