Hey {{first_name|default:there}}, it’s Vadim 👋
Between the Canadian wildfires and the heat waves here in NYC, it’s been a “fun” July - but certainly not an idle one.
We’re now kicking off Week 5 of the Bio Founder GPS Pitch Deck Intensive, and a small group of founders and I have been hard at work refining their investor stories ahead of fundraising season this fall.
We’ve covered a lot so far. And while I want to fully respect the confidentiality of the program, several lessons have come up that I think many founders in this community can learn from.
So today, I want to pull back the curtain a bit for those of you refining your decks, actively fundraising, or preparing for a full-court press this fall.
🧭 HERE’S WHAT WE’LL COVER:
Are you an asset or platform company? How to decide what to lead with.
How to tie problem, solution, and “why now” into one story
The real purpose of your business slides (most founders miss this)
10 questions to get your deck in fighting shape
And more!
By the way, I’m still catching my breath after compiling last week’s State of Family Office Funding report, so today’s issue will be a lighter read - but no less important! 🙂
If you missed the report, you can grab it here - and let me know what you think!
Let’s dive in! Here are five lessons from inside the intensive - and what they may reveal about your own deck 👇
By the way, a quick favor 🙏
I’m working on something to make fundraising easier for biotech founders, but before I build it, I’d love to better understand where you’re getting stuck.
If you’re currently raising, or expect to over the next 6–12 months, I would really appreciate your perspective!
